OLD SOMERBY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
MONDAY 2 FEBRUARY, 2026 at 7.15 pm at Ropsley Village Hall. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF DATE
During the meeting there will be a 15 minute Public Forum when members of the public may address the Parish Council on any matter connected with this Agenda or for inclusion on a future Agenda. Members of the public are welcome to stay after the conclusion of the Public Forum but will not be permitted to take any further part in the meeting unless first invited to do so by the Parish Council through the Chairman.

3. DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTERESTS AND DISPENSATIONS: If any raised – for consideration.
4. APPROVAL OF DRAFT MINUTES: To consider approval of Minutes of Meeting 17 November, 2025.
5. CLERK’S AND COUNCLLORS’ UPDATES INCLUDING:
a) The purchase of the Piece of Land; b) Litter Picking - New Volunteer;
c) Draft Community Emergency Plan; d) Cold Harbour – Traveller site;
e) Flooding issues on Grantham Road; f) Drainage issues at School Lane; g) 6 Bungalow Site;
6. LOCAL COUNCILLORS UPDATES– (SKDC AND LCC)
7. FINANCE: To consider:-
a) The latest Financial Update Report – to consider transfer of funds to interest bearing account and
future payment of invoices.
b) Budget 2026/2027 – for discussion and to consider approval;
c) Health and Safety Audit of the Parish Council’s Assets – for consideration;
d) Funding Application from Parochial Church Council – for decision;
8. PLANNING:
a) The Conifers School Lane, Old Somerby – Application to remove a condition –latest;
b) Sysara, School Lane, Old Somerby – Minor amendments to porch and replacement of UVC
Conservatory with single storey rear extension – retrospective.
9. CORRESPONDENCE INCLUDING ITEMS FOR INFORMATION ONLY: a) SKDC – recent correspondence;
