The Old Somerby Parish Council is made up of five Councillors, one of which is the chair.

Parish Council meetings are regularly attended by our County Councillor and District Councillor. We meet up every alternate month at the Fox and Hounds and the public are more than welcome to attend the meetings.

It is the practice of the Parish Council to hold a Public Forum for 15 minutes from 7pm when members of the public may address the Parish Council on any matter connected with the agenda or for inclusion on a future agenda. There is a time limit per person which will be announced. During the Parish Council meeting members of the public are encouraged to attend but cannot comment or address the council unless specifically requested  to do so  by the parish council.

The meetings start at 19:15 and usually finish by 21.15.
