OLD SOMERBY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
MONDAY 5 AUGUST 2024 at 7.15 pm in the Conservatory, Fox and Hounds
Prior to the commencement of the meeting there will be a 15 minute Public Forum at 7pm when members of the public may address the Parish Council on any matter connected with this Agenda or for inclusion on a future Agenda. Members of the public are welcome to stay after the conclusion of the Public Forum but will not be permitted to take any further part in the meeting unless first invited to do so by the Parish Council through the Chairman.

1. WELCOME by the Chairman and any remarks.
2. APOLOGIES - and consideration of any reasons given.
3. DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTERESTS & DISPENSATIONS: If raised, for consideration.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: To consider approval of the Draft Minutes of Meeting held 20 May 2024.
5. CLERK AND COUNCILLORS' ACTIONS AND UPDATES/LATEST: including
a) Cold Harbour issues;
b) Next Parish Newsletter;
c) Repair of Bus Shelter frontage;
d) Flooding on Main Road;
e) Litter Picking;
f) Grass cutting – Health and Safety issue.
6 LCC LOCAL COUNCILLOR UPDATE: Cllr Charlotte Vernon.
7. SKDC LOCAL COUNCILLOR UPDATE: Cllr Sarah Trotter.
8. FINANCE: To consider:
a) Financial Update - Income/payments to date; Bank Reconciliation;
b) To consider adopting NALC Model Financial Regulations 2024.
c) Audit 2023/2024 update.
9. CORRESPONDENCE INCLUDING ISSUES FOR INFORMATION ONLY:
a) Letter from Lloyds Bank concerning the Financial Services Compensation Scheme;
b) Email from a resident regarding visibility for drivers at the Roundabout;
c) Email from a resident regarding free sapling trees available for planting;
d) SKDC – Notification of Local Development Scheme Update.
e) Callconnect summer promotion scheme.
