OLD SOMERBY PARISH COUNCIL                                               

PARISH COUNCIL MEETING TO BE HELD Tuesday  29 March , 2022 at 7.15 pm 

at the Fox and Hounds, Old Somerby (in the Conservatory)

 

PLEASE NOTE:   WHILST FACE MASKS ARE NOT COMPULSORY THOSE 

ATTENDING ARE REQUESTED TO CONSIDER WEARING ONE.  

         

Prior to the commencement of the meeting there will be a 15 minute Public Forum at

7pm when members of the public may address the Parish Council on any matter 

connected with this Agenda or for inclusion on a future Agenda. Members of the public

are welcome to stay after the conclusion of the Public Forum but will not be permitted

to take any further part in the meeting unless first invited to do so by the Parish

Council through the Chairman.

of the Parish Council.

 

1.    APOLOGIES: 

2.    DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTERESTS AND DISPENSATIONS:

3.    APPROVAL OF MINUTES: To consider approval of the Draft Minutes of Meeting 

       held 24 JANUARY, 2022.

4.    CLERK AND COUNCILLORS' ACTIONS AND UPDATES/LATEST a) Speed 

       Indicators - further consideration of the purchase  of a Solar Powered Reactive

       Indicator. b) Roundabout - latest  c) Tree Planting - latest  d) Parish Newsletter - 

       to consider any necessary actions.     

5.    LCC LOCAL COUNCILLOR UPDATE.

6.    SKDC LOCAL COUNCILLOR UPDATE.

7.    REPORT ON THE PARISH JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS - Cllr Stephens.      

8.    FINANCE: 

       A) To consider i) all payments since the last meeting ii) the Bank Reconciliation 

       iii) Finance Update and any necessary actions; iv) to receive an Interim Report from

       the Internal Auditor; v) to consider website service from LALC.

       B) To set the Budget for 2022/2023 - and any necessary actions.    

9.    CORRESPONDENCE: a) Missing 'Old Somerby' Village sign on road from Ropsley;

       b) Email from SKDC - reviewing its Local Plan; c) Email from local resident regarding

       litter; d) Emails from SKDC etc concerning the piece of land behind the bungalows;

       e) A Freedom of Information application from a resident.
